Anna Elizabeth Nourse - Journal 1855

I have uncovered another exciting family history artifact - my second great grandmother's journal/book of dates. I discovered this in an old banker's box along with other documents in a family home in Vermont. The journal is written on miscellaneous slips of paper rather than in a bound book. Initially, I was not able to determine who wrote the journal, but after reading several of the entries and references to various family members, it appears that Anna Elizabeth Nourse is the author. Anna was b. 10 Feb. 1836, Worcester, Massachusetts, d. 12 Feb. 1927, New York, New York. She m. 6 Dec. 1916, Franklin Fessenden Holbrook in Brattleboro, Vermont. The first entries are for 1855 - see below:
